How it Works

Meet & Greet
Before any service begins, we schedule a complimentary meet-and-greet at your home. You, your pet, and Maribeth (the owner of pup-e-cise) will meet in person. This allows us to all meet and go over specifics of your pet’s care. If you would like to meet your walker/sitter there is a fee.

Book Through our Portal
All bookings, scheduling, and communication happen through Time To Pet, our client portal. You receive a confirmation with your assigned sitter’s name before every visit.

Get Visit Reports After Every Visit
As soon as your sitter or walker finishes up with your pet, you receive a GPS-tracked visit report with notes and photos through Time To Pet. No guessing, no waiting, you know exactly how your pet is doing.
Why Choose pup-e-cise
Insured & Professionally Credentialed
pup-e-cise LLC is insured through Erie Insurance, and our staff holds American Red Cross Pet First Aid certification. You are not hiring an unvetted stranger from an app — you are hiring a licensed, insured local business.
Established in Schenectady Since 2009
pup-e-cise has been serving dogs and cats in the Schenectady area since 2009. We know the neighborhoods, the local vets, and the pets we work with — many of whom have been clients for years.
Your Pet Stays Home: No Boarding, No Strangers
Every service we provide is in-home. Your dog walks in their own neighborhood. Your cat sleeps in their own bed. Pets with anxiety, health conditions, or strict routines do best in familiar surroundings. That is the only environment we work in.
GPS Visit Reports on Every Visit, No Exceptions
We use Time To Pet for GPS tracking, visit reports, and photos on every single service for dog walks and pet sitting visits. You receive the report automatically when your sitter or walker checks out. No updates means something has gone wrong; you will always hear from us.
Owner-Operated, Not a Marketplace
pup-e-cise is a locally owned LLC, not an app that connects you with freelancers. There are no handoffs, no algorithm assignments, and no dependency on a platform that could change its policies. When you contact pup-e-cise, you are talking to the business directly.
