pup-e-cise provides professional, insured dog walking, in-home pet sitting, and cat sitting throughout Scotia, NY, including the neighborhoods around Collins Park, Freedom Park, and the village downtown area. We have served Scotia pet owners since 2009.
Every visit is logged in our Time to Pet app, which includes GPS-confirmed arrival and departure times along with a photo update sent to your phone. Dog walks start at $30 and pet sitting visits start at $35.
Services Offered in Scotia
Dog Walking
Each visit includes a leashed walk based on your dog’s energy level and route preferences, fresh water, with the visit length and route noted in your Time To Pet report. Walks can be scheduled as a one-time visit, a recurring daily route, or ongoing coverage while you’re at work or traveling.
Pet Sitting
In-home visits include feeding, fresh water, litter box or yard cleanup, medication administration, and playtime or companionship. This is all offered in your home rather than a boarding facility. Most Scotia clients schedule two to three visits per day while traveling, which keeps cats and dogs on their normal routine.

About Scotia
Scotia is a small village on the Mohawk River, and it’s built to be walked. Residents can easily walk to the library, post office, restaurants, and grocery shopping from most homes in the village. That same walkability is taken into account when pup-e-cise schedules and runs visits here. Sitters are familiar with on-street parking patterns, narrow village side streets, and the mix of older homes with alley or rear-entry access that’s common in Scotia’s neighborhoods.
pup-e-cise makes use of many of the parks for dog walking. Collins Park (with paved multi-use paths along the river), Freedom Park, and Quinlan Park all are in or near the village center, and Collins Park connects directly to the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail and Empire State Trail. Village code requires dogs to be leashed outside of the designated dog park area, with owners responsible for cleanup, which is consistent with how pup-e-cise handles every neighborhood walk.
